I am Managing Director of Thrive Ministries, a non-profit ministry focusing on the missional discipleship process and exploring what it means to really follow Jesus in his mission of restoration and reconciliation. We help people discover a God who loves us more than we can possibly imagine. By stepping into God’s mission of restoration and reconciliation, we can discover the life that is worth living for and dying for.

I am a son, a husband, and a father. And the order doesn’t make it easier. I live in Folsom, Ca, with my beautiful wife and amazing three children. I thank my Father every day for them. I’ve finally come to realize the value of relationship and cherish the one’s I have, especially my brothers in the journey.

This blog focuses on the idea of Missio Dei, or Mission of God. It flows out of my work in ministry and what it means to follow Jesus.

ok this is really silly to ask, but I know a family of Brinks….do you have any relatives that live here in CA but are originally from Illinois?

My mother if from Illinois but she was Maddaleno. My dad was from Ontario, CA.

hey- came to your site via emergent village wanderings- lots of good stuff to read here. And i smiled to see Brennan still doing his thing. He’s looking pretty good- better than when I last saw him- God bless him! His message is still touching lots of people’s hearts.
