Discovering The God Imagination Is In Print

So it’s official.  I’ve officially released my new book.  It’s called Discovering the God Imagination, Reconstructing A Whole New Christianity. I’m so excited about this because it represents probably 15 years worth of work.

You can get it on Amazon but why not help a brother out and order it through my eStore. Plus, I’ll give you a 15% discount if you do. Just use the Code 5GFARGT9.  You can read a summary of the book here.

If you’d like to join my blog tour go here.

For nearly 2 years now, in many ways, I have felt more “free” than I have ever felt before, discovered and explored “self”, challenged theories and perspectives by asking many many questions, buried my mind in books, etc…and I've been in search for answers to things that I have been “raised” to believe, persuaded to think is “just right” but my experiences have caused me to challenge what I have been taught. God's judgment, scripture, “Church”, Love, marriage, relationships, value, experience, truth, and freedom are some of the primary things I have been searching for “truth” about. In search of these answers via observation of people, reading, and asking questions, I grew even more curious, yet more conflicted. Basically, it's been an awesome journey to have the freedom to challenge, at the same time has given me a very big headache.

“The only way to lose what is true is to lose God's perspective, to lose the objective basis for judgment…And all we have is our relative experience that resides as data…The very thing we use to base truth on becomes relative, and we suffer the consequences.”

I have been basing truth on my relative experience and I have seen how I have suffered consequences because of it. I love how simple it is to understand the truth. God is the judge and defines value. We can judge if we start with God's perspective…and “it is good”. Amazingly simple.

Your book is piecing together, every single piece that I have been left holding, but now understanding how it all fits together. What you are suggesting in your book is, like I said, amazingly simple. I can't put your book down.
