If you don’t sing hymns, you’ve abandoned the Gospel. If you don’t baptize the way I think you should baptize then you are not a Christian.” (24:20)

But you bolded (is that a word?) that part of the quote - what about it do You think is true about what he said? I’m not trying to be mean, or rhetorical - just wondering where you might see someone like me misrepresent Warren or the EC.

Nicole, the point was that Ed Stetzer is very traditional with a missional bent. He says so in the video. This is a guy who studies churches for a living (Lifeway). But he had enough courage to admit what he sees in more traditional circles. He didn’t give specifics.

To a great extent this sheds light on what so many of us feel, that more traditional approaches don’t always tell the truth. It’s just easier to believe the lies.
