Thanks for kickstarting these discussions. I've been trying to pinpoint the moments were I began thinking of the christian mission more holistically and I am having trouble really "nailing it to the wall". A host of conversations, mentors, books, songs, and doubts (maybe the most important) have conspired against me in the last few years to change me into something that - at least from this vantage point - seems to be more beautiful. I look back on my gnostic, acidic faith from earlier years and almost cry. I have so much hope these days while at the same time being overwhelmed by the mass of pain all around. This is a very good time to be alive. Awesome stuff, Jonathan.
